Hello all! Y'all haven't heard from me in a long time. Part of that reason is because my laptop was stolen from my dorm back in October. I have a few suspects, but the Campus Police are total jokes, so I have no hope of getting justice for this. The other is that school kicked my ass last semester. I got a D, 2 Cs, and an A at the end of term. It wasn't as hectic as I make it sound, but I just have been feeling sick about school. Done in May, but that's too long for me.
I just wanted to wish y'all happy holidays. Be realistic when setting Resolutions, I believe in y'all!

Okay, so it's about time for me to get into something else. I've always loved cowboys and the idea of "steampunk" (didn't know it had a name until a year ago.) I was watching a rerun of Castle a few weeks ago, and one of the suspects was a member of a Steampunk society. He explained what it was about. I know, it's a show, but I like the idea. I did some research. Most people (from what I've seen) cosplay as a Victorian era city dweller. Well, technically, the Victorian era is from 1832 to 1901. There is a lot going on in the world during this time. This is why I want to go steampunk cowboy.

If there is anyone within the community that has any information and/or tips for a new steampunk, I need all the help I can get.

I was with basketball, so we had to be back 3 weeks early. We were the only ones here on campus. Wasn't too bad. Had a decent start to the season. School started, we missed the next 3 weeks of classes. But better than basketball or classes, we had FCA. We had a huge Event in April. But everybody involved became family.
I'm leaving in 59 hours (from when this is being written, I'll leave at 11:00 AM on May 15th). I'm gonna miss everybody down here in Laredo. Everybody down here has became my family. I love them, most of whom I would die for.

I know, not very long. But I just wanted to put this up before I went to bed.

I'm gonna sound like a high school student or a young kid, but I don't care. I met a girl almost 2 weeks ago. She's really cool. She likes classic and Texas country music, like Freddy Fender and Josh Abbott Band. She's into science fiction-type stuff, like aliens and Bigfoot. She doesn't know much about comics, but she wants to learn. She's kinda into sports, and she doesn't like the Yankees or Cowboys. She helps out with FCA. She just gave her life to Christ last week.

I'm not gonna say anything like "200 likes and I'll tell her my feelings" or "100 Favorites and I'll ask her to meet my family" because it's not something I should leave to the chances of getting that many. Think about it. I get 199 likes, I don't have to tell her. I don't want to take my chances.

I think she is perfect! I don't know how or what to do to not scare her off. I'm not Romeo or Casanova. Can I get any advice from dA?

So, basketball season is over, we lost in the first round of the conference tournament. I went to my grandparents' for spring break. School for a week. Went to Waco for a wedding of a close family friend and caught up with my friends. Now back to the grind. That's really been it.

The important news is we're 3 weeks from Injustice: Gods Among Us dropping! There will be a midnight release party at the Gamestop where I pre-ordered it. I pre-ordered the collectors edition ($100). So I get the Red Sun pack, New 52 skins, Justice League: Doom download, Injustice #1 comic, Statue, and the Game. They will also release a season pass for $15 on the release day, which will include a Flashpoint Skins pack and 4 characters. I've been checking out every video on YouTube about the game, getting pumped. I've even set up a "tournament" with some friends. I'm ready!
